The Year is 2248...

...and the world is vastly different than it was at the turn of the millennium. The great city-states of North America now float miles above their old and broken namesakes. Repellium airships float across the skies, bringing war and trade. The ground is no longer safe, as all the land is infested with mutants and roving bands of barbarians and bandits. The sky itself is poisonous and it's foolish to go outside without protective eye-wear. Great, never-ending storms have cut the continent off from the rest of the world. The power of Faith has manifested itself in a very tangible manner, whether it be for a Catholic priest, Muslim mullah, Native American shaman, or even a Greenie cultist. The very concept of "electricity" has fallen into myth, replaced by new and bizarre technology. Magic is real, and wizards push the Governors of the various city-states to be the first to establish a wizard's college.

I had an idea for a steampunk game. I've decided on HEX for the mechanics.
